Ten days to go until September 8, our first gathering
in the eight-Wednesday-evenings FREE workshop series
WRITING FOR RADIO. This event is sponsored by Poets & Writers, Inc. with a grant from The James Irvine Foundation.

The idea came to encourage local writing of materials
(plays, skits, dialogues, monologues, essays, poetry)
to air as programming on KPFZ. This was after P & W notified me that grant monies are available for rural areas. The grant has come through, but we presenters were prepared to go ahead anyway!

So please spread the word (it's already in your mail boxes at the station, on the listserve and posted at libraries etc).
Folks don't have to be experienced writers, just want to have fun creating and collaborating, learning new skills or sharing what they already know.
Here's the schedule - note that Redbud Library (Clearlake) workshops are 6-8 pm, Lakeport 6:30 pm
